My parents came by for a visit. This is the first “big” trip my dad has been on since his surgery. He looks kind of shifty.

And now I’m out. After we made all the necessary calls to clear the rest of the day, Brenda checked Elizabeth’s cervix. Still at 4 cm so we’re still calling it early labor. He’s dropped quite a bit more so everything is moving along naturally and normally. Some more nourishment and rest is the order for the day. To be continued…

39 weeks 6 days - All pretty for my pedicure
Early labor is starting, and there is lots left to do. This is me breathing through a contraction. Birth may still be a day or two away, but the arrival of Babybite will be sooner rather than later!
She was very pretty for her pedi and definitely bearing down through some much more intense contractions. She taught me some very good mommy to be pressure points to help get things going. She’s a mommy expert as well as an expert mommy. I wonder if she has any other tricks for me to help hasten this delivery….
